Welcome to my Gandhi website! My name is Emma Wetten, and I have created this website for my English 105 class at Arizona State. I have built this website to promote and teach about Gandhi in the best way I know how. Here I hope you will learn something about Mahatma Gandhi, arguably one of the greatest positive influences on our world ever. I sincerely hope that this will inspire you to learn more about Gandhi, and change your way of viewing the world, as it has mine. I fully intend to continue work on this after it is graded for English, so please stop back for more in the future!

 Gandhi believed, above all else, in Love. Love everyone as you love those closest to you, hate no one. This love was the driving force of all aspects of his life and was the root of his other teachings such as truthfulness and nonviolence. He promoted nonviolence and believed deeply in Truth. He never blamed individuals for their violence or cruelty; instead he said the fault was of the society that taught them their hatred and prejudice. He lived by the rule hate the sin, not the sinner. Most importantly of all, Gandhi lived his teachings to the fullest.
